Hi Paleface,

Reading your thread there are two things stand out for me:

Firstly you are still trying to focus on turning the clubface with your arms/hands whatever, the book is based around 'how you put the clubface to the ball'...........simply look at the ball and deliver the 3 skills............no swing thoughts. Easier said than done if you have been technical for years......trust it mate.

Finally, the hook you talk about is fine, this happens to everyone I have spoke to, my advise is to stick with this for a time, eventually your brain with compensate for it and start to push the ball further right at the start then draw back, somewhere in the book is the visulisation section, like the clock face aim for 2.00 o clock with the driver.

It just take a little time to adjust, I also started to, not hook but more turn everything over to the left a little, it seems harder on the course to visulise the ball starting out right, when it usually starts left etc, just a scary feeling. Again Trust is the key. Be realistic too, your not going to hit every shot perfect for the rest of your life, look at Tiger's driving he can't hit a barn door with a rocket launcher after 30 years coaching.

Cheers

Ian.
