Don't recall saying that you must agree, but lets keep in mind, what one player does and makes work is not necessarily good as a general rule. John Daly swings way way past parallel, but I wouldn't recommend everyone do that type of swing. You will find that the majority of professional and low handicap golfer do have the gap between the forefinger and middle finger of the left hand grip. My article simply points that out and gives a reason for it. Use it don't use it, really not the point. Every golf swing instruction is useful to only some, nothing works for everyone, or there would only be ONE way to swing.

You can find evidents to disprove every single golf instruction ever given, is that helpful, doubtful.
