| Re: Tiger is back from the clouds I liked the reference to the 142 cuts I think something like 35 of them were tourneys with no cut,I dont think Mr Nelson had the privilige of playing in any of those so really his record still stands. I think that is probably a more realistic reason why Tiger missed the cut. Despite what some people think of him, he is honest with himself. Mr Nelson's record was really the only one he had left to take, with the exception of the most Majors and thats a different type of record. As it drew closer (only a couple of months good play away from it) I think Tiger would have started feeling the pressure of that. Lets face it its perhaps one of the greatest records in golf and I think its a travesty that they have credited Tiger with it despite the facts. Byron Nelson is still a great ambassador for the sport and deserving of the accolade of 'Most Consistent Performer Ever. Let Tiger earn it by playing 4 rounds in 112 straight tournaments that have a halfway cut. I'm pretty sure thats the way he would want it as well.
Yep, heading home to a blonde Swedish Bikini model after playing some of the greatest courses on earth and getting paid $100 million a year to do it....it must be utter torture.......
