dixees,
Picking a driver is like picking a good woman, you have to get one that suits you and you have to consistantly hit the sweet spot.
Dixees, you really can't say which one is better, just go to a dealer or range that has demo
clubs. Bang some balls out there, and see what suit your eye. The technology differences would be +or- 5 yards. It's really pretty insignificant.
The major thing is loft and shaft flex. If you can get on a swing machine look for a combination that will get you a 12* launch angle as this is optimal.
(Just for comparison, I use a Biggest Big Bertha, 305cc head, 9*with a Penley Tour Light Stiff Shaft, and a Tour Diamond Winn Grip. For me this combination sets up well, I can hit it off the fairway if I need to, I hit the ball slightly on the upswing and my launch angle is usually between 12* and 12.75*).
