Ragman,

I am happy for you that you are a student of the game at a high level. You have memorized alot from the book. I'm impressed. Most people in a lifetime of golfing don't study these things. If you are in search of the absolute truth about a swing, try teaching kids with handicaps, or adults with a physical problem and all they want to do is hit the ball and have fun. I study because it brings me pleasure in learning new things. I learn from all these people. Most people on this site, I've found are folks that want to get a tip or read a little something to help them, very few post messages compared to the amount that read.

Let me explain something to you about the Bald Guy. I have had too much pain in my life to argue over who is right or wrong about a golf swing. I lost close friends in Lebanon in the 80's along with my Father and my first wife. I don't take things as seriously as I once did. I enjoy life and golf has always been there for through rough times.
I left my beloved Marine Corps with a leg broken in six places. It's not perfect but it works. The doctors said I'd never play golf or walk well. I do both reasonalbly well.
I am not an angry person nor do I give myself sympathy. I live my life and smell the roses. I could debate you all day on all these subjects and more but I won't, I would like to discuss them in a cordial manner with you. I am fasinated why someone would talk the time to study such a work. I do because I am an engineer and a golfer. Maybe you could enlighten me sometime.
I came to this site to give simple explainations to folks that struggle with their game. I don't want to talk over their head or tell them they are wrong. Just simple answers. Life is too complicated to add golf to the list of complicated things. It truely is a great escape.
If you think I'm wrong or right, in the morning I know these to be true:

1. It will rain somewhere in Louisiana tomorrow.
2. My wife will have made me good coffee.
3. I will get a kiss before I leave the house.
4. I will work, that is a good thing.
5. When I come home I will see my dogs face in the window.
6. I will sleep soundly knowing I lived another day and I am still breathing.
7. Hopefully I can escape to the course soon!

I'm sorry Ragman, but for the Bald Guy I don't really want it more complicated than that!!!
