thank you very much for your recent comments, I went to my local course saturday just gone and actually hit the green from my approach shot many times, which hasn't happend before, I think that the reason why I can't control the ball once it hits the green is because of the ball I place with (a pure distance ball) but I am quite concerned that if I change to a ball which spins more I may hook or slice it more? is there any balls out there which will spin enough to stop going through the green but not too much that it'll incourage a side spinning ball?
