Hi Sparky,

I have a drill that might help you. Bring the grip of the club up to your chest and grip down on the shaft. Take a slow backswing and through swing. You will feel and see the club in front of you. This will help you get connected.

The connection check point I use is if the left arm gets ahead of the chest on the through swing it can cause this to happen. Another way to check, (this may sound funny but it works), Take a left hand grip on the club no right hand, take a few easy swings. Then put your right index finger in your navel. Take a few swings and check to see if your navel is stopped anywhere in the swing. If it stops, check that location for the disconnected feeling.
