Re: Help with Heavenwood 3H

Well, the callaway site isn't much help - so my natural assumption is that the club is sole weighted (like a lot of hybrids), but square faced and somewhat offset, with no ball flight bias.

The pull is an out-to-in swing path, and can be simulated by playing the ball too far forward in your stance (when the club is coming back in). The hook is an even more closed face after coming out-to-in.

But if the club is offset, then the likelihood of shutting the face increases (after all, the whole point to offset is to give the club more time to shut the face).

So, how does this club compare to the rest of your clubs? More or less offset? Square at setup, or more open or closed?

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
