Good question! Basically your wedges are scoring clubs meaning accuracy is absolutely paramount over distance and control is everything. If you're comfortable hitting a full shot and the distance is right then I'd say go with it. If the distance seems like a bit of a stretch then don't force it as you'll almost certainly lose accuracy. Take an extra club, choke down a little and shorten the swing a tad. You'll have to practice these shots a lot to control distance effectively as your coordination of the swing is different.
