I guess the main idea is to work on the timing of the swing, so that you get the sound at what should be the impact point. I don't know that it's possible to fine-tune the timing that precisely this way, since your brain isn't going to be able to register *exactly* when the gadget clicks. But if your swing is way off, I imagine you'd be able to tell. It makes me curious to know how far off my swing might be...
