For me, I bought a 20 oz fishing weight and duct taped it to a old driver club head, for my 6 year old, I had a 12 oz weight taped to a old yard sale driver his size. We do 15 chips, 15 half, and then 20 back and forth full swings, (no ball, just pretend) and finish with some slow motion (like tai chi slow) full swings. doing this every other day for the last 2 weeks, I have notice. Most of my
irons I only use a shoulder high, a little more than 3/4 swing. and I have more control and all most the same distance as before when I was using a wild full swing with my
irons. As far as my son, he has an added forearm strenght to where he can choke down on my aldut
irons (down to the 4 iron) and hit them with a 3/4 swing. (Now I notice that his junior
clubs seems so light he sometimes gets away from his technique and only uses his hands and arms. So I will cut this type of practice back to once aweek and practice more form with him)
Just trying different things and ways to save money.
