I got sucked in with my first birdie 6 weeks into playing.

339 yard Par 4, good drive, duffed approach, pin was front left, nothing but dead fairway between me and the pin, so I paced it off (about 17 yards) and grabbed the Texas wedge. I thought I'd just lag it close, and enjoy my first par. Then the ball ran up, bounced to the left, and went in the cup!
