I met a guy on a driving range while vacationing in Hawaii who was using flash cards to practice with. I thought he was a bit out there with his practice routine until we spoke about what he was doing. The cards were color coded, and after he had warmed up, he would pick a card and hit the shots as the card directed. Each card discribed a series of shots using different
clubs. This meant he was not hitting the same club more than once in a row, just as we all do while playing on the course. The next day we played together (he was on vacation also) and he shot a 73, which made me think about his practice routine. When I returned home, I made up my own set, and I have been able to shoot better scores since going to this routine. Makes practice a bit more interesting also. GJS
