I think part of the problem is there is no industry standard re: stiff and regular, so what one company is calling stiff may be very stiff or or closer to regular. The other factor is shaft kick point - low, med and high. a high kick point should give a more boring shot and visa versa. You can go for a fitting - the only problem is the fitter can only fit you to how you are hitting that day. If your not hitting well, then won't tell you much. I agree with above that the best thing to to is go to a range and try the clubs. do it soon, becuase the colder it gets, it is hard to tell what is good for you.
