It might be coincidence, or it might not. You may want to try it. (It did leave a bit of a very warm WD40 pool after the head came off, and I dumped the WD40 out.

That's no problem.
I'm a firefighter so I'll use my work gloves.

I'll also use masses of WD40 when spining.
