To answer your first question (built club), chances are if they'll sell the component, they'll also probably assemble for you, as well. If you can't find anyone to build you one, let me know, and we can work something out.
What I like about the M series:
First, I got the black ion finish. I love the way it looks.
Next, these wedges have a nice compact look to them at setup. I have a buddy who has
Ping G2 wedges, and they look like dinner plates. Even the SnakeEyes 600XC wedges are huge compared to these.
These wedges also put a nice amount of spin on the ball. When I strike them well, they 'one hop and stop' for me.
I'm currently waiting on some (more) SMT durometer heads, as I fear they may boot the Maltby's. Right now, my Maltby's had shared time with my SnakeEyes Forged wedges (again, the black ion finish).
