Re: Big Break II Yes, I saw that episode, The wind was blowing, but this group had several chances and even got to see what the other guys were hitting and still left 'em short or flew the green. Tough to watch. Not impressed so far, but it's early. If they're performing like that with a few cameras around, how are they going to do with a gallery of hundreds/thousands lining the fairway?? ![]()

Re: Big Break II The biggest problem I see in this format, is that they are all just sitting around waiting to hit. You can't get into any kind of rythem that way, so that bad shots don't surprise me.

Re: Big Break II The Big Break...... If I was a journeyman pro struggling from season to season to make these tournaments I would be pretty annoyed that a bunch of (let's face it) average club pro Joes were getting the chance just cause they were a bit of a personality and fitted a demographic (lets face it does that group of guys look like they were plucked off any old practice range on the tour, I don't think so). It's just Pop Idol Golf....not too much of the stuff they are doing makes any difference on the tour. I mean how many courses on the tour have Glass panels to hit? Or oil drums as targets? Its good entertainment to be sure and you watch them play the games and you would love to try them yourself. If they really meant it to be taken more seriously they would just throw them at a ahard course and the lowest score over four or six rounds would win with bonuses for longest drives, most fairways hit most greens hit, fewest putts etc. D.

Re: Big Break II I agree that there are very few challenges that are relavent, but how many of us could break that pane of glass? It's entertaining and the shots require a lot of imagination. If you are capable of pulling off 80% of the challenges with good success you probably have good enough game to make the top 20 on the Nationwide tournament with a good couple of rounds strung together.
