Cool Re: World Cup Fever

Well done Aussies, we are thrilled for you Nicole! Imagine the US coach predicting that teams like us would be the tournament's whipping boys. Poor guy apparently forgot to look in the mirror.

Re: World Cup Fever

Hi
i have to say i ahve the upmost respect for owen hargreaves. he is the one player who improved as the tournement progressed.
I never really rated him and could not understand svens selection of him, but now he has really gone up in my esteem.

my sentiments exactly
he was the only one who looked like he could change the game for us
he was my man of the match
is it me or was it unwise for fifa to appoint an argie to ref one of our games. and id love be a fly on the wall at OT when the players report back for training , im a red but i thought ronaldo was a disgrace yesterday!

Re: World Cup Fever

Hi slats.
Bang on again mate.
Ronaldo is a dirty word from now on. I don't think rooney will be the only red who will be giving him a slap.
I hate the greasey ponse

Re: World Cup Fever

This guy is a scumbag. United made him a worldwide name and then he shows total disrespect to his club team mates. he will be jeered at every premiership ground in the country.

i hope he f*cks off to real madrid

Re: World Cup Fever

Hey all,
for anybody whos interested in the world cup, do you agree that most of the so called pro footballers are big style cheats after all if you cheat in (golf, cricket, snooker, rugby) you would be penalised and in some cases suspended from the sport, or even banned,

I was always led to beleive that when penaltys are taking place it is against the rules for the goal keeper to move of his line before the ball is struck by the penalty taker, Iam not trying to defend the penalty taking by the england team as the were appalling. but the ref only a few yards away was oblivious.

A As for Ronaldo the big girl, what a w.....er eh if i was to bump into him em, he just proved that when he winked at his bench, that what he did was premeditated, and should be heavily fined and play no further part in the world fiasco,I mean cup, I do hope people will add to what I have to say and look forward to what others think

Re: World Cup Fever

Great, passionate reply killer.
crucial games of football all over the world are won by cheats, they are either diving or trying to influence the ref.

Did anybody notice ronaldo headbutt rooney before the kick off yesterday ?
