What beer you like best?

Hi all,

If you ever go to Spain, try "SAN MIGUEL".This is the best Spanish beer, in my opinion.

What is your favourite beer in your zone?

Toni.

London Pride

Mind you that's only because I'm in exile down here and Birkenhead Breweries have gone to that great mash tun in the sky.

Re: What beer you like best?

In the states the #1 selling beeris Bub Light, which by the way is what I drink.
I hear it does'nt compare too the dark beers, but what the hell I'm pretty simple.

I go to the Bay Area a lot on work and love the beer out there. Sam Adams is great and theres some super little micro brewery places (like Gordon Biersch)

I can second that PNEARM.
Living here does have its advantages.
"Edelstoff" is for me.
When I'm home in Preston a good Boddies will do.

Re: What beer you like best?

At long last a post I can actually contribute to......

I'm a seasonal drinker - so
Winter - Guinness, it warms and fills you up through the cold and wet winter months..
Christmas - Erdinger Winterbrew - a potent and slightly expensive German Weissbeer.
Spring - Erdinger, warming and filling, yet uplifting enough for the improving weather.
Summer - Miller, if its a long evening in the garden with friends, Guinness if it's after a good game of golf, if I'm not drinking I'll have bottles of Corona, tasty, go down easy, but not really that interesting.
Autumn - I'm moving back to the Guinnees....

General drinking - There is a very cheap but tasty Pils in Lidl that is 6 pint bottles for €7 which is exceptionally cheap by Irish standards and is a quality German Pils. Thats my 6 pack thats always in the fridge if I want a few relaxing beers.

To celebrate an occasion I'm looking at a nice 12 year old Glenfiddich, but I'm still a novice whiskey drinker....

I'm also fond of a nice Hoegarden in the summer in a beer garden...

Otherwise I'm still researching the world of foreign beers.....

Smile Re: What beer you like best?

Years ago I used to be a confirmed bitter drinker. One fateful night I overdid the Marston's Pedigree by about six pints. Had a hangover for a week. Since then I drink lager. Usually Stella or Kronenberg

Re: What beer you like best?

Besides free beer, which I'll drink almost any.

I drink mostly Bud Light. Usually the most readily available beer for me.

I prefer Michelob or Amstel though.

Re: What beer you like best?

I'm a bitter drinker! When I'm back in London, where I grew up, I drink London Pride.

Unfortunately here in Thailand there are only lager beers served (cos of the heat), so I drink Chang (Everton sponsors), which I believe you can find in the UK.
