My name is Adrian Swift, Im 28 right now.

Im from the UK. Moved to California in 2000 and married my wife there. Moved to florida, near Orlando in 2002 and carried on trying to find a job.
A friend got me a job working maintenance on a championship golf course close by. Oakwood in Lake Wales
My chosen field is IT, but theres very few jobs around here in that field.... appart from Manager positions. The rest seem to be absorbed by the local colleges.

So working for 2 months I saw people playing, learnt a lot about the game and got a feel for the whole thing.

What the heck is it about smacking the living **** outa that small white ball thats so relaxing??

The relaxation comes from not being able to think about anything beyond the property lines of the golf or country club. Unlike other hobbies, you have to pay attention to what you're doing to derive any kind of satisfaction!

Like fishing, golf is the ultimate married mans sport. Clubs should be required presents at all weddings.

I hear that. And tee times should be given preferentially to married guys.

I'm the new member around these parts and I happen to know that Fraggle has a rock named after him. Am awaiting a Hogan/Bettinardi mid-Belly putter purchased on E-Bay. The Big Ben version. Since my style favors this type of putter, can't wait to try it.
