On the other hand if this is a friendly game then there's nothing really - except macho pride - to stop you playing from the ladies if you want to, nor do all of the group have to play from the same tee.

Sometimes I think that as well as categorising tees by sex and competition there should be an ability level category - in fact there's one guy I play with who uses the championship tees whilst i use the standard mens tees.

It doesn't spoil our game because in many ways we are both playing against ourselves.
