LP - Sounds as if that could be an enjoyable variation, which I think is the point. Its meant to be fun!
Sure take the weekly medal seriously (well a little seriously).
Certainly practice with a purpose because, whether like me you are a high handicapper or like young Ricky you are a budding superstar

, we all want to improve.
Above all remember that most weekends you're spending 4 - 5 hours in the open air with some friends - you might as well enjoy it.

, but seriously I see so many people out on the course not having fun that i wonder why they bother.
