Re: double eagle or hole in one?

A hole-in-one on a par 3 is more exelerating. Par 3's are designed to challange your iron play.

A 2 on a 5 is all about the Driver and 3w/long iron...and that leaves too much for interpetation to those that want to hear about it...so, you had a double eagle...was it a short par 5?, dog-leg?, did you catch the cart path 3 times?, etc... You also are usually alone in the act...noone usually right near by.

The par 4 driveable hole-in-one is unfortunatly not as exciting (but a close 2nd) only because it is usually so far away that you really do not witness it.

The best part about the par 3 hole-in-one is that most are seen, all by the payers in your group AND by the group just leaving the green.
