Budget Driver Vs Expensive Driver do these clubs hit futher than the other lower priced drivers or is it just a case of paying for the name?
The simple answer to this is NO. Different clubs suit different people. There are various aspects of a club that contribute to hitting the ball far, such as, weight, shaft, swing weight, clubhead material to name a few. One club can suit one player and not the other. Some pros use heavy clubs, some use light, some use expensive, some use not so expensive clubs. For a pro like yourself what would the distance difference be between a lower priced model and a high end driver?
The quality of the materials used in the higher priced clubs zre sometimes better than that of lower priced clubs, although not allways. Generally, it is the quality of the shaft that is the greatest difference. What are the main differences between a high priced and budget priced driver?
1. The material used for the head, shaft.
2. The quality of the grip.
3. The weighting of the club. Most budget clubs are not weighted correctly.
