Hi Teebagher - I agree that the hybrids are designed more to replace the long irons than the short irons. I am curious to know about your "answer"
Some folks also find the hybrids helpful where they have trouble with the shorts though.

Andycap - 82 and still golfing - deserving of a medal all by itself! To me, divots can equate to either shafts that are too long, or stance/set up. Never heard of hybrids and divots being a bad combonation. I would like to hear more about that if anybody has anything to ad?
