My husband has bought me a Callaway Big Bertha for my birthday. I was a late starter to golf...60's, and for the last few years have tee'd off with either a 3 or 5 Callaway wood. I remember reading a senior's golf book where it advised those of us over 60 not to use a driver. Most of the ladies now drive with the large headed driver's and get much more distance that I do with the 3 wood...hence the Big Bertha. I have not been out to the course yet to use it and wonder if there is any special advice on how exactly to use this huge club. I would love to reduce my handicap with this club. I also have the problem of arthritic knees so am not quite as flexible now.
