If a Brit might intrude on (I think) a largely US thread, what's the explanation for Tiger's Ryder cup record? Fair enough in the singles but - for someone of his class - pretty woefall when with a partner.

Does the singlemindeness he shows in all his golf (and especially in play off) make it more difficult to play in a team?
