Re: Golf swing analysis drawings

A trajectory mat is a high tech piece of ...

well...

tarp, really. (I bought mine from Wishon).

It's a heavyweight vinyl (or something similar) with a wonderful grid on it.

You hang it, set up a tee so far away, and hit a ball into it.

Then you run the pythagorean theorem to figure out your launch angle.

I find it much easier to use a little bit of software.

I believe the defacto standard for trajectory mats is 10' away, starting 2' from the ground.

At any rate, it's a fine piece for launch angle. However, I think that becomes automatic with a couple of lines in CSwing, doesn't it?

I really liked CSwing, it was just outside my budget (and justification ability) at the time. I guess having spent some pretty coin on a loft and lie machine, CSwing would be a drop in the bucket at this point

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
