Oh, yes - absolutely, grip size has a big part to play in the golf swing and the impact algnment. If your grips are too thick, it can restrict your wrist hinge or if they are too thin, it can result in wrists and hands that are too active.

On your grip hand,your middle & ring finger should just touch the pad of your palm.

As a rule of thumb: if your grip size is mens medium standard mens grips are fine. For each size up, add 1 layer of tape under the grip. If you use mens small glove, you need a thinner grip.
