ARagland,
I have posted many things about this swing on this forum. I can tell by this and other websites you have posted on you don't get it. That's OK, this is not a conventional swing. As stated in the threads on the other website, Ernie Els has taken lessons from Dunaway and not mentioned Anika Sorenstam took lessons from Austin. I see more of Austins swing in Anika.
Please do me a favor, spend $30.00 on the tape from
www.peacerivergolf.com website and try it. If you still don't get it send the tape back. If after all that you still don't understand, spend the 10 dollars or so on Amazon.com and get Mike Dunaway's book. It will fill in the knowledge gaps of the tape. If that isn't enough, spend the $300.00 on the Austinology tapes yourself. You must have a basic understanding to grasp the concepts. If after all that and maybe taking some time to try some of these concepts for yourself, ask me specific questions.
I don't pretend to be a guru, I know what I know and I show people who want a better understanding. If they have another, way that works for them, great. I am still learning myself.
ARagland, I must be honest your contentious one liners do frusterate people. I write on this site for pleasure not for frustation. Why me, do you hate this swing concept that much that you argue about it everywhere. ARagland, all I can say is it works! It's relaxing and non-violent, you swing and it just happens there is nothing to think about. My opinion is it's golfing nirvana.
The finish of my PM, since I couldn't reconnect to that page is please write about your swing thoughts and concepts, that is what this forum is about. Just write, don't single people out.
