Not sure about the medicus, have not heard much from real people on that one, But I know 1st hand that the inside approach works very well. Plus you can make your own with 1/2" pvc pipe like I did. Instead of $100 it cost me about $20 in pipe and glue and about 1 hour to make. everything you need is at home depot.
