You could try moving the ball back in your stance. When you strike the ball with your
irons you should be putting a descending blow on the ball. You need to strike the ball first, then the ground. This will de-loft your club, creating less loft and more distance. If you are hitting your iron shots higher than they should be, this should work great once you get used to taking a divot. Try it at the range for a while or it could end up being diasterous.....
