Ball postion with hybrids

As I am just experimenting with trying 3 and 4 hybrids, what ball position and angle of attack would it be best to use?

Like I'm the one to advise you but until someone else comes along you could try:

Ball Position: Between centre and leading foot - see p20 in 3Skills, the 4 Iron picture, with an angle of approach something like Illustration R on p107 i.e not as steep as the short irons.

This seems to give me the best chance of success though obviously the end result is also influenced by how "well I am swinging" - somthing that has a number of factors.

Hope this helps.

So, about the same as normal 3 and 4 irons would you think then?

Yes, I used the 3Skill's examples because I know you are working on them but another way of looking at it is to take the 3 / 4 (which I guess is what you are replacing) as a starting point and adjust as necessary.

Re: Ball postion with hybrids

I would go more mid-iron.

It's definately a downward strike and not a sweep. Not a big turf-digger though.
