you mentioned your short game was bad, so was mine for a while, just practice the short game drills in the book and in no time you will see an improvement. getting the 'range' with the short game is the key!!

Normally my short game is very good(the only saving grace I had for getting up and down the fairways so badly), but it was just an off day. The short game is one of the most important parts of the game, which I practice regularly.

Can't wait for the 18 holes on Sunday.

Hi Guys,

Well things didn't quite go to plan. Ended the round with 120 after hurting my shoulder towards the end of the first 9 and finding nearly every bunker in the course. Overall I has hitting fairly well so I am quite happy but the score doesn't really reflect the experience.

Oh well, lets see what happens on Tuesday, I will be doing a long par 72.

Will report back.
