Re: Three Skills Clip

This link to the "Hammer Swing", this can't be what 3SK is about, can it?!?! I would love to play this guy in match, as he tries to time that release into the ball under pressure.

Re: Three Skills Clip

Correct Greg... This is not 3Skillsgolf related... The hammer and the nail references are similar but this is where the similarities end by the sound of it

We are hoping to get some youtube videos for 3Sk's up soon... We will definitely get some from the 2nd UK GTO Open in SEP

Re: Three Skills Clip

As I put on the first post:

Quote: I found it guys the first 3SKs golf clip, this guy touches on what 3SKs is all about.

Tongue in cheek it does touch on some elimentsof the 3SKs, but has no connection whatsoever.

I think this guy may be trying to start a version for his own school, as it was only posted a month ago he may have read the book then varied it slightly...!!!

Re: Three Skills Clip

I just watched quite a few of those clips...... I think the guy might have OCD. All he goes on about is the hammer and the nail for 80-90% of every clip.

Re: Three Skills Clip

ROFL - I've used the hammer grip.

It's actually quite useful for guys who set their arms and hands and then don't use them AT ALL on the down and through swing.

For me, it came from baseball. To watch my hands in my swing, it was always a karate-chopping action through impact, never releasing the bat until later. Hitting to different fields to me was based on timing my swing and changing my stance, versus swatting at the ball with hands and wrists.

So when it came to golf, I'd rotate my forearms and open the face, then hold it there through imapct. Nice, eh?

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.

I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.

For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
