secondly his confidence is totally unbelieveable, more than Tiger will ever have, if Moe Norman ever missed one shot I am sure he would faint.

I watched my son in slow-mo too his hands are higher at impact however the clubhead is in the same place, obviously it has to be or he would miss the ball, I think it could be called the 'Moe' effect. Something that all players do if they know it or not.

Interesting

Ian.
Ian,

By the way, how is Liam these days? I hope his golf is still progressing, I think he was playing for the county juniors?

Evening chaps.

I have probably missed this somewhere, but are there any details around showing what the reasons for downward shaft bend are?

Thanks for asking Brian,

He's doing very well, he turned 12 last month, looking forward to Christmas, as he pick three presents 3 &5 nike woods and a G10 rescue... he plays football every Sunday Golf on Sat, his lessons are around every three weeks with the county, so some Sundays are hectic with golf in the afternoon, but I don't want him to focus on just golf, its to much.

He finished the season on 15.4, broke 80 once off the yellows, best of 83 off whites towards the back end of the season, I think he would have got to about 13 if he had another couple of months.

He does 100 sit-ups every day, which the county say will help him with even more strength, he passed me three times at Carden Park a few weeks ago and shot an 86 around the Cheshire course.

Thanks again, this was him in June:

Not sure if this link works without registering to the site.

It's one from our mate A.J. Boner and relating to Skill the way the clubface rotates through impact. Interesting reading.

I think A J Boner has a completely different profession to A J Bonar Bri!

I'd be very interested in reading a copy of A J Boner's book. I bet it's got some great pictures.

Re: i used the 3 skills and nailed it!

everything came together today
played heaton park manchester, a tough course at the best of times made tougher by the cold wet weather.
anyhow the 3skills helped me to card a gross 81, 37 out 44 in.
