Re: i used the 3 skills and nailed it!

My copy arrived this morning. I have given it a quick read through and it appears to be uncomplicated, easy to follow with some nice illustrations.

Will spend some more time with it over the next few weeks and report back.

Some of you are wearing this subject thin and maybe causing more damge then you are doing good.

You can hit the ball great, but come back when you start scoring and reducing the handicap and then you have something to report on.
well that well and truly pissed on my parade!

Yes, Slats, and can you get that annoying 30 minute infomercial off my TV after the news, that's when reruns of "Friends" are usually on, I'm missing my daily laughs with Monica, Ross, Phoebe, Joey, Rachel and Chandler....

Oh buggeration I was just about to ask Brian a question about it but I'll PM him instead; that way I won't annoy anyone by adding to the thread.

There are plenty here that want to know as much as possible about 3 skills so that we can make an educated decision as to whether to buy it. So far only cmays is pissed off about the length of the thread, probably because it is getting more attention than his teachings/ramblings.

Interesting about a claim in another product at the top of the forum:

Has won over 140 majors. Now did they train 140 players and they won 140 majors, or did they train 1 person and he/she won 140 majors, do not see that in the stats, yea maybe 30 or they send a product out to all the tour players free and claim credit everytime a tour player wins.

Interesting question: How many majors are there a year now? How long have they been in business?

If you been in business 10 years, that is 14 majors a year, ****, the numbers do not add up.

My post, I could care less if you read them, I will talk and write to myself and still bring joy to my heart each and every day from a honest living.

ps: under the topic golf instruction you are correct, it would be better to know about what is offered from an instruction aspect versus the selling aspect.
my honest intention when starting the thread was not to sycophantically extol the virtues of the book but to inform the many other high handicappers on the forum about it hoping it would maybe transform their game as it currently is for me!

Hi Guys,

Cmays, may I suggest a lecture from Mr Mcdonald..................who more than proved the 'method' works exceptionally well.

Sunday won the Divisional cup with a personal best round, the only swing thought was 3 skills, hit down from the inside, rotating..........takes all other un-becoming thoughts away.

How Did I Do. On-Line Scores and Information for Golfers

Non Believers feel free to select Leek Golf Club, then competition results from the left column, division one.................winner I Hancock 76 gross.

Lets not start filling this thread with rude messages thou guys, free speech and all.

I feel like I've been converted to some religion.

Ian.

Re: i used the 3 skills and nailed it!

Slats,

I have eaten some pudding too.............!!!

If you know the swing well and think about it to achive the 3 skills you must do most teaching anyway.

Hit down.................= weight shift sorted

Hit from inside..........= Late hit sorted

Rotation..................= Followthrough complete

Dear GOD please look after the rest of my golf swing as I convert to 3 skills.

Of course there is more to golf, but this goes a long way to improvement quickly and easily.

Re: i used the 3 skills and nailed it!

Personally, I find it all pretty interesting. The enthusiasm doesn't bother me at all, and I'm always fascinated to find out what's working for people. I tend to be skeptical about these things, but then I haven't drunk the Kool-Aid yet. When the book arrives and I put some time in, I sincerely hope that I'll be chortling too.

Instead, I shot 118 today! And a number of times I found myself mumbling "What are those three #$%$!!@ skills?" Actually, my ball striking wasn't that bad, but this course was by far the most difficult I've ever played. The greens were incredibly fast, and I found them nearly impossible to read with any accuracy. The sloping fairways were a real challenge. I felt I was playing way over my head, but I had a great time anyway. Maybe with 2 out of 3 skills I could have broken 100.
