I have had many a conversation with Dr. Austin. He is quite a guy. He is a very private person. The pros and celebrities he teaches like to keep things low key. He is not a limelight teacher like a Pelz, Harrmon or Leadbetter.

He is a perfectionist, if you have a thick skin, you see Mike and check you ego at the door. Mike will amaze anyone with his knowledge of the golf swing, he's the only person I've ever spoken to that can tell you every bone and muscle that moves in any portion of the swing and why certain motions work better or worse than others. He understands motion and leverage and the science behind the swing not just the physics, he has a masters degree in physics, engineering, psycology (sp), 2 years of medical school and a doctorate in kinesiology the study of muscluar motion.
