Re: Training aids

Hello all, first post here. Just this past September I took up the game of golf, in part for the exercise and in part to have something common with my Father-in-law. I've been having a great time picking up the game. So far here on GTO, I've been reading and learning as much as possible.

On to the Medicus 2000: I was in a local sporting goods store to return / exchange a holiday gift and the local pro that was working there had a nice 2 hour conversation with me on the game of golf. He recommended that I being new to the game would benifit from the Medicus 5-iron (for what ever reason he told me to stay away from the driver).

I found a place on e-bay that was selling them a little cheaper than direct or from any of the online retailers.

It was delivered a few nights ago and so far I am impressed with the feedback it provides. The video is pretty good. It offers a lot of pratice techniques, as well as what a new golfer should be concentrating on for proper swing technique.

I'm interested in what more experienced golfers have to say about this swing aid as well.
