does more dollars equal more distance

My question is does spending a LOT more money on a driver equate to hitting the ball futher. Why are some drivers, eg calloway, titliest, etc priced so much higher than some other brands and do these clubs hit futher than the other lower priced drivers or is it just a case of paying for the name? For a pro like yourself what would the distance difference be between a lower priced model and a high end driver? What are the main differences between a high priced and budget priced driver?
