I used to have the same problem. I figured it was impossible to fix and all i had to do was compensate for my slice and the ball would end up in the fairway. Well by opening up your stance you acomplish the exact opposite of what you want. Try closing your stance quite a bit. i.e. if you usally aim 15 yards left of the fairway try aiming 15 yards or so right. Think in your mind about still swinging to the left side though. This causes your hands to come around faster and you might start to draw the ball a little. Just play with your stance and try to come up with a happy medium. No idea if you understand what i mean or not but it worked for me. Good luck.
