| Re: Super slice Guys, turning to the left just makes the slice worse!!!!
Slicing is caused by chopping the clubhead across the ball at impact. Again use the 'inside corner of the cube' image to sort out your impact position. Have the feeling of swinging straight back taking the club away low and slow and coming back through well inside making it hard to cut across the ball.
With a slice its a case of vicious circle time. you get snatchy because you dont know where its going which causes you not to attack the ball resulting in a cut across it with a de-celerating clubhead and then you aim left which opens you up making you cut across it more until it get to the stage where you hit the ball further right than forwards. Aim straight and attack (i mean really attack be positive) the ball from the inside. A few hours practice at this should curb the fear and the slice, you may end up with a reasonably big fade but thats no problem.
