when you buy a new shaft Al the trimming instructions usually come with it or are freely available on the suppliers website. Usually for a bore thru driver there is no trimming involved whereas for the non bore drivers there is a 2" trim involved. As I have mentioned before you are usually better to get your local pro or clubmaker to do it for you drivers and woods are pretty tricky.
