I agree with Lowpost here DNA, these things eventually cause more problems than they solve because you have no basics to fall back on. You are better just practising hard and getting yourself deadly from 3 feet and in. Then work on your longer putts until you can get them 3 feet or closer every time. Once you know you can two putt from anywhere that takes a huge strain off the rest of your game from chipping right up to full approach shots. Its a knock on effect all the way through the game.

Theres no substitute for hard work in this game look at Vijay or Gary Player.
