Remember we have the USGA who look after Canada, USA and Mexico with 1 set of rules on equipment. Then there's the R&A who look after the rest of us with a slightly different set of rules on equipment.
But remember, non-conforming
clubs are not illegal provided you are not taking part in a competition or submitting the round for handicapping purposes. That is what makes them 'legal' - you can use them for social play.
