Just to ad to Greg's post - it doesn't matter what sport you played in at a high level - if you learn how to handle pressure in tennis, you should be able to take up another sport later in life and handle pressure in in that sport as well, if you are confident in your abilities. A few excellent examples are Michael Jordan, Grant Fuhr and Phil Mickelson, just to name a few.
