| If I might add:
Try to practice with a friend. Use 1 ball each. Play to spots. This puts your mind in the exact frame that it needs to be in for real golf. The more you do this in practice, the easier it will be for real.
If no one is around, then play against par. It will always win except whn you play your best.
I set 3 holes with little sticks and tape for a flag in my yard about 25 yards apart in a triangle. I cut the grass 1 inch lower in a circle around each hole. Then play shots from anywhere. If the ball lands on the green, it is antomatic par. You have to chance to chip/putt it in for the birdie, but never making more then par. If you hit it inside the leather of the club, that is automatic birdie. If you hit it off the green, you have to chip it to inside the leather to make par. So this is the game. Everyone loves it. We play mini-tournaments with lots of beer. Great fun. And good practice. |
