Good player? Yes. Professional? Probably not. I can't think of any professional out there (Tour player) that started any later then 18. To be at that level requires not only the physical tallant, but the brain takes years to develope the right trainning to be competitative.

But do not let this discourage you at all. Taking up golf at any age is the right age. It's a game. That's it. Enjoyment is at every level.
