left knee pointing in or out? This obviously applies to right handers, lefties can just reverse the idea. Until recently I have tried to keep my left knee pointing sligthly towards the right knee (as that is what Hogan recommends in 5 fundamentals). I have a tendency to get stuck on my right side which causes slices and the odd shank. I then saw a tip on TV where they said to point the left knee outwards (i.e. towards the target not the right knee). This has improved my turn dramatically and I am not getting stuck on my right side anymore. I think Hogans advice on the left knee pointing in towards the right knee is wrong, anyone have any views on this?

One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer. His friend says: “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.” The man then replies: “Yeah, well we were married 35 years.” |
