That is like me...........the only reason i was just about to buy a hybrid is because i could not hit my 3 iron worth a lick. Then today im in burnt weed rough, it is rainy and windy, and looking towards the flag about 220 yards away there are trees lining a water hazard that is lined by evergreens on the otherside right before the green. We are just practicing and i see a small gap so i decide to shoot for it. The result was the best shot i have ever hit, a 225 yard lace through the gap, over the hazard, over the evergreens and 2 yds behind the green, 10 yds from the hole. Forget course management, take a risk!
